Jubilo is a theatre ensemble founded in 2011 in Wrocลaw, Poland, working at the intersection of art, research, and social engagement. The group creates performances and long-term projects with communities at risk of exclusion, including prisoners, refugees, and people with disabilities. Jubilo has been developing the Unlocking (Odkluczanie) project in collaboration with the Grotowski Institute, creating award-winning performances such as Reflection (2015), Kain (2019), and Kain in Absentia (2020). The company is part of international networks of theatre in prison and collaborates with institutions across Europe, participating in programmes such as Erasmus+ and Creative Europe.
The project is co-financed by the Ministerial programme ๐๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ฒฬจ๐ฝ๐ป๐ฎ.
